Chie was born as one of the pioneering social enterprises in Vietnam towards preserving and promoting the traditional weaving of ethnic minority artisans. We not only create sustainable livelihoods for the highlanders but also strive to empower ethnic minority women. We train them to produce handicrafts bearing the cultural and artistic imprint of their minority. The high-quality products they create are not only sold at the local market but are also introduced to customers in Vietnam and abroad.
Chie Dupudupa is a social enterprise with a vision for sustainable development. Chie strives to create more livelihoods and empower ethnic minority women, providing them with a stable life and sustainable development in the future. Thereby, we want to establish a center for developing handicrafts of ethnic minorities in Vietnam with activities of introducing, displaying, trading, and promoting products to people who love handicrafts.
Our core values focus on 5 values that follow:
Commitment to Social Responsibility: Chie commits 100% of business activities towards the goal of bringing positive value to the community.
Transparency: Chie ensures transparency in co-production activities with ethnic minorities as well as input and output product values.
